Modeling and Sketch (Replacement)

After have some ideas, i started to sketch out the tiger and the cubs. The first picture of the billboard which is the living tiger and the cubs is quite easy for me to draw.

Picture above shows the sketch of the living tiger and the cubs.

However, when I wanted to draw the other picture which is the dead tiger and cubs, I suddenly don't know how to draw. Hence, I have to find some reference or model. I went to my friend's house who have some pet cats, and let them be the model. 

At first, I wanted to draw the cubs laying down on it's mother dead body which have made into carpet.

Due to cats is not as obedient as dogs, hence the cats would not follow our instruction on laying down flat. At the same time, it is not encourage for them to pose like a carpet as their joint will hurt. Luckily, I have found one doll which look similar like a carpet.

Then I let one of the kitten which is half sleepy sleep on the carpet doll.

So, I have come out with some sketch out the tiger carpet.

However after sketch out the carpet, it feels that something not right as it looks like a cartoonish funny looking carpet...

Work On It! (Replacement)

After I done with the mock up, I start looking up some picture reference about the interaction between a mother tiger and it's cub or big cats, to get some idea on how to draw out the tiger and the cub. Figures below are the reference picture.

After looking for more pictures, I finally found one pictures which I think is quite suitable with my theme as shown in figure below. The reason why the researcher have chosen this to execute out the project is because the face of the cubs looks sad and it is suitable to show it in the next pictures where the cubs have lost it's mother.

Finish Tryout (Replacement)

Picture below is the picture of finishing the tryout. Then I have to fold it according to the line like folding a fan.

But the researcher print in black and white as the researcher thinks that this is just only a tryout. Pictures below shows the example of tryout on the bus stop billboard.

Tryout (Replacement)

After researching on how to create a lenticular image, I start of with some tryouts:

1) Select two images and adjust them with the same size.

2) Select line by line, the copy and paste into a new working file.

3) Then repeat the same steps, until the image are fully copy and pasted on a new working file.

Research on Technical (Replacement)

After the presentation, I start on researching on how to create a lenticular image on website.

After reading some of this, I feel that something is weird as I get different information from different websites. But I will tryout with some example.

Reference from Some Successful Campaign

I have found some picture references for my outcome of ambient media. The reason why I have chosen the concept of mother and child or a family is because, I want the people to imagine: what if this happens to you? Such as losing a mother at such a young age, and the children have to survive in a harsh environment.

However, I personally prefer Figure 3 as my final outcome, as this can show the sadness of the cubs more obvious.
